  • the more I play with Linux, the more I’m glad I normally use OSX. #
  • Blasted eeepc, I’ve deleted (somehow) the Xandros file manager and now can’t reinstall it. #
  • AHAH! I have you beaten Linux, and me, WITHOUT A BEARD! Your deliberately obfuscated ways will not defeat me! #
  • For those who asked – eeepc is fine for short two-fingered typing in the back of an ambulance. USB keyboard plugged in for longer texts. #
  • …but I *hate* Linux with a passion ‘oh just "apt-get vshf -cofgi -o -zsh"’ Yes – that’s a bloody obvious way to install a program. #
  • I may do a video thing about it later. Probably marked [explicit], but all in all it does what I bought it for, cheap text entry on the go.. #
  • …that if I lose or it gets stolen I won’t be hideously crushed and/or crippled by an expensive loss. #
  • But I’m still going to punch Linux in the throat the next time I see it (and yes, I know OSX is built on *nix) #
  • I use Ubuntu on an old laptop of mine, well… I say ‘use’ what I really mean is ‘have installed, but never use it’. #
  • Getting ready to go out to do short film interview for an African thing. Meanwhile hoping that the postie comes before I leave carrying GTA4 #
  • Taking a bus ride into my past. Strange. #
  • @anniemole where is the pub for the meet tonight? #

  • Working out of a strange station today. Very strange… #
  • @ordinal Maybe not what you ate looking for but I use Scrivener to keep notes + files organised. #

  • @Kalian I was going to invoke Godwins law but I was too busy trying not to laugh #
  • @warrenellis Tonight the rabid Sri Lanken dogs will come in the night to steal your penis. #
  • Really loving the interface to this, there is a real art to it. http://www.o2memoryproject.com/#/close-view/london/ (Thanks @imajes) #
  • whizzing round City of London on blue lights. Obviously I’m stopped to twitter. #
  • realising that I’ve just blue-lighted by two separate groups of twitterers. #
  • @plasticsnow It’s simply that we don’t always need the noisemakers to make people aware of us. At night lights work just as well without woo #
  • First drunk of the night from an old pub of mine in Holborn. #

  • I <3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kari_Byron Like you wouldn’t believe. #
  • @version3point1 Lets just say that we are both heterosexual. Adam Savage would be my date were I homosexual. But I’m not. #
  • Actually – where did my sex drive go? I’ve not seen it for *months*. Maybe it’s got lost behind my sofa? #
  • Hmm, on radio 5 live this evening (10:45ish) to comment on a stabbing story and maybe take calls. #
  • In pub. Eating meat. #
  • @ScottBieser I shall now sulk now that I know that I’m not on your ‘list’ #
  • Pondering if I should shave for the radio show tonight. Just how lazy am I? I mean, it’s not like anyone will see me. #
  • Salutes @batsgirl Yes Ma’am! (But I can still wear my hoodie, yes?) #
  • @ScottBieser If I told you my secret plans for reviewing things I’d have to kill you… #
  • Excellent! First caller called me a Nazi. Then lots of people agreed with me. #
  • Now waiting for the transport home. I love the BBC. #
