- the more I play with Linux, the more I’m glad I normally use OSX. #
- Blasted eeepc, I’ve deleted (somehow) the Xandros file manager and now can’t reinstall it. #
- AHAH! I have you beaten Linux, and me, WITHOUT A BEARD! Your deliberately obfuscated ways will not defeat me! #
- For those who asked – eeepc is fine for short two-fingered typing in the back of an ambulance. USB keyboard plugged in for longer texts. #
- …but I *hate* Linux with a passion ‘oh just "apt-get vshf -cofgi -o -zsh"’ Yes – that’s a bloody obvious way to install a program. #
- I may do a video thing about it later. Probably marked [explicit], but all in all it does what I bought it for, cheap text entry on the go.. #
- …that if I lose or it gets stolen I won’t be hideously crushed and/or crippled by an expensive loss. #
- But I’m still going to punch Linux in the throat the next time I see it (and yes, I know OSX is built on *nix) #
- I use Ubuntu on an old laptop of mine, well… I say ‘use’ what I really mean is ‘have installed, but never use it’. #
